According to the Houston Chronicle, personal injury attorney and esteemed trial lawyer John O’Quinn died this morning in a violent one car collision. The SUV O’Quinn was traveling in collided with a large tree just off Allen Parkway (a fast and busy street in Houston).

There were two individuals in the SUV including O’Quinn. The Chronicle was uncertain which man was driving when they lost control of the vehicle.

O’Quinn was pronounced dead on the scene.  The exact cause of the accident has not been determined.
